Goa CET 2018 Application Form: The GCET 2018 exam dates released for admission to professional degree courses 2018-19. The Directorate of technical education (DTE), Goa is going to conduct the Goa Common Entrance Test – 2018 (GCET – 2018) on 8th May and 09th May 2018 for the admission to professional degree courses i.e. Admissions to B.E., B.Pharm, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences, & B.Sc. in Nursing courses. About Goa CET: The Directorate of technical education was formed in 1986 by the government of Goa to provide new technical education colleges in Goa. Its mission is to facilitate technical education through the board. It consults the GCET every year to provide admission in medical programs.
GCET 2018 Notification:
Goa Common Entrance Test- GCET 2018 Notification has been released. The Exam will be conducted on date 8th May 2018 (Physics & Chemistry), 09th May 2018 (Mathematics & Biology) for B.E., B.Pharm, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences, & B.Sc. in Nursing courses. Admission in professional degree courses will be made based on following tests:-
(A) Admissions to MBBS & BDS Courses shall be based on NEET(National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) to be conducted by CBSE and eligibility criteria prescribed by MCI AND DCI.
(B) Admissions to B.E., B.Pharm, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences, & B.Sc. in Nursing courses in the State of Goa for the academic year 2018-19 shall be carried out on basis of GCET- 2018.
(C) Admissions to B.Arch course shall be on the basis of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam(Std. XII th/HSSC.)
Goa CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria: For admission to professional degree & diploma courses included in this prospectus and applicants must fulfill the following criteria to apply for Goa CET 2018 Application Form.
Age Limit: An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have competed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year. No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture.
Education Qualification: Applicants should have passed the higher secondary school certificate examination of Goa organized by the CBSE, New Delhi in the stream of physics, chemistry and biology. For full details check the official notification given below.

GCET 2018 Exam Pattern & Syllabus:
The Goa CET Exam 2018 will be conducted in four parts and divided into four papers. There will be four papers like physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology subjects. The time duration of exam will be two hours for each exam and each paper will consists of 75 questions. Therefore, candidates would be fighting the Goa common entrance test 2016 to take admission in MBBS, BHMS, BDS, BAMS, Allied health sciences, B.Sc courses.
Note: Admission to B.Arch course shall be on basis of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude test in Architecture), held by Council of Architecture and qualifying HSSC/ 12th exam.

Candidates are notified to visit the official website and download the application form as soon as possible. Candidates have remembered the last date of the application form is the first week of April 2018 (Expected). Candidates are needed to fill the application form neat & clean. Candidates can submit their application form after the last date with the late fee of Rs. 1500/- till April 2018 first week.
Application fee: Candidates are needed to deposit the application fee for all courses as Rs. 1500/- for all candidates.

VALID SCORE AT GCET-2018:
An applicant for Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have appeared and obtained valid score at the Goa Common Entrance Test GCET conducted by Government of Goa for the year of admission. GCET score of the previous year/s shall not be valid. For Medicine and Dentistry Degree courses, minimum GCET score should be 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category.) aggregate in specified subjects. No minimum limit is specified for other courses. An applicant for Degree Course in Architecture must have appeared and obtained valid score at NATA conducted by Council of Architecture.
Selection Process: Aspirants are notified that the selection will be according to the rank and counseling.
