About AFCAT: Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT, is the entrance exam which is conduct by the Indian Air Force to allow candidates who have qualified the exam to get admission in the courses provided by the Indian Air Force to join the Air Force as Commissioned Officers. AFCAT 2018 Application Form Essential Eligibility Criteria:
1) Flying Branch: –
Graduation (3 Years Degree) in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (with Maths and Physics as the subject in 12th level.
B.E/ B.Tech with minimum 60% marks.
Candidate age should be between 20 to 24 years as on 01st January 2019 (born between 02nd January 1995 to 01st January 1999 including both dates).
Candidates having valid Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) will get relaxation up to 26 years in upper age limit i.e. born between 02.01.1993 to 01.01.1999 (both dates inclusive).
Minimum Height: 162.5 CMS.
- Min: 99 Cms.
- Max: 120 Cms Thigh
- Max: 64 Cms
- Min: 81.5 Cms
- Max: 96 Cms
Weight: Proportionate to the height and age.
Minimum Vision: 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other
2) Technical Branch: –
Candidate should have 4 Years Degree and Passed Sections A and B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with Minimum 60% marks.
20 to 26 years as on date 01st January 2019 (born between 02nd January 1993 to 01st January 1999 including both dates)
Minimum Height: 157.5 cms with correlated weight.
Minimum Height for Women: 152 cms
Weight: Proportionate to the height and age.
3) Ground Duty Branch:-
For Administration and Logistics posts– 3 Years Bachelor Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a min of 60% marks or equivalent.
For Accounts posts – B.Com (Min 3 years) with min 60% marks
For Education posts – MBA / MCA or MA / M Sc degree in English / Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / International relations / International studies / Defence studies / Psychology / Computer Science / IT / Management / Mass Communication / Journalism / Public Relation with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate all paper put together in Post-Graduation (Minimum two year programme) and 60% marks in graduation .

Important Note for Eligibility:
> Candidates, who have failed the PABT test earlier, are not eligible for this exam.
> Final year students can also apply for AFCAT 2018 exam given that they have secured 60% marks in aggregate with no present backlog and must be able to provide provisional or original degree certificate before commencing the training.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
In AFCAT exam the paper will contain four subjects like as:
- General Awareness
- Verbal Ability in English
- Numerical Ability
The paper will be consist of General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test like subjects and the paper will be of 100 questions. Each question will carry 3 marks. There will be also a negative for every wrong question there will be reduced on marks.

AFCAT 2018 Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay Rs. 250/- as the application fee. You can pay the fee by online mode of payments using a debit card, credit card and net banking options. Without payment of the fee, the AFCAT 2018 Application Form may discard by exam community.
